Detailed Job Description:

 

Individual will provide configuration expertise within the SAP HR module to include responsibilities with Payroll, Time Evaluation, PA, PD, and CATS, Training and Events, and SAP Learning Solution.  Individual must have in-depth functional knowledge of the HR module and how it relates across system functionality.  Must be able to convert business requirements into technical design documentation for ABAP, BW, and enterprise integration developers.

 

Skill sets/Expertise

·         SAP 4.6C or higher

·         ABAP

·         Chemical Industry Experience (preferred)

·         ERP IT Standards

·         Bachelors Degree in IT or related field

Detailed Job Description:

 

Consults with multiple functional areas in identifying the technical capabilities to support the business process design of long-chain processes. 

 

 

The objective is to develop common global processes utilizing as much standard SAP capability as possible.
Provides broad and deep SAP ABAP development knowledge in a leading role in the business process design effort..

Primarily operates at a strategic level.

Has a network of SAP/ABAP experts at other companies or with SAP to obtain advice on designs and resolutions to problems. This role would actively participate in this network.

ABAP development solutions based on business requirements, internal business knowledge, integration requirements, and links to future system upgrades and possible future business needs.
Works with developers from multiple teams to define and perform long-chain tests in the development environment.

Helps business identify long chain scenario tests.

Completes detailed white box testing of configuration design solutions.

Completes detailed test plans for interfaces, ABAP and BW

We would like for these resources to have deep SAP reporting experience with a preference of SAP HR skills. General HR experience would be an asset also. This resource will be engaged in the following activities: Requirements Gathering for enhancing existing reports as well as newly identified reports, Analysis and Functional Designs, Unit and Product Testing, Deployment & Initial Support.
